Matt Hemens
HEAD OF SALES
Prior to working with Flock Consulting, Matt was the South Island Group Sales Lead for Spark, leading a team of 30 sales and technology professionals who support Spark’s largest government, enterprise and corporate clients around the South Island.
Matt has previously served as an officer in the British Army and, since arriving in New Zealand in 1996, has built a successful career in technology sales and, in recent years, in sales leadership roles. Matt has worked for Teamtalk, TelstraClear, Orion Health, Canon and – across a total of 19 years – for various Spark Group companies, including Telecom, Gen-i, CCL and Spark Business Group.
Outside work, Matt loves to spend time with his family, travel regularly in New Zealand and internationally, ride his road or mountain bike, enjoy his alter-ego as a part-time DJ and both play and watch sport - especially his beloved Newcastle United!
